Our Story
The AI Hub was founded in 2017 at a critical moment in AI research and development in Canada. Growing and evolving alongside artificial intelligence, the AI Hub became a Technology Access Centre (NSERC) in 2023, recognizing its vital role in cultivating a competitive climate through technology adoption, innovation and commercialization. Since its inception, the AI Hub has leveraged more than $5 million in investment and supported more than 150 companies.
The AI Hub is made up of a dedicated team of technology leaders, developers, and students purposefully assembled to deliver best-in-class AI services for industry clients. We help companies in traditional sectors adopt and integrate AI solutions to position them to compete in an AI-driven economy, and we help innovative companies commercialize new AI solutions and bring them to market.
